Why We Started
HM Shutters was created after we struggled to find shutters for our own home that offered the sizes and designs we wanted at a price we could afford. We realized other homeowners were likely facing the same challenge, so we set out to make custom rustic shutters with more options and an attainable price.

Our Approach to Price and Value
Our focus is on making quality rustic shutters attainable without cutting corners. We use the same lumber in the shutters we sell today that we used when building shutters for our own home in August 2023, so you can get a look you’ll be proud to put on your home.
Our Story
HM Shutters is a family business born from our search for affordable shutters that fit the style of our own home. When we couldn’t find what we wanted, we started researching and asked, “What would it take to make our own?”
After making shutters for our home, we realized we could help other homeowners find more options without making custom shutters feel out of reach. As the idea grew, God placed it on our hearts to turn that experience into a business.
